darn927 @kathlynhiggins hi!! If you are a true medium this dress is likely too small 🙁. There is elastane in dress but at waist and top of dress there is really no stretch because of the banded accent. Here are the measurements: P2P: 16.5" measured across the back, construction of dress leaves room for bust waist: 15" Length 40.5" strap length: 7"

I love this dress but I am very flat chested and after reading the detailed description I worry there would be a gap in the upper section (I am a size 4 but thought this one would work for me).
