Absolutely killer vintage malachite bead necklace. Approx. 21” long; brass toned barrel clasp. Features graduated natural malachite beads, each with beautiful banding, accented by tiny blue & green seed beads that accentuate the rich green of the malachite and give the necklace a hand-knotted look from afar. Beads are strung just right… not too loose or too tight, so it hangs beautifully. Heavy, high quality piece. Beads are beautifully polished, and some retain some of the original texture & striations of the natural stones- see pics (NOT cracked or damaged, I checked). Clasp almost seems to be about an inch off center from the largest beads to my eye, it’s definitely not noticeable if you just position the beads how you like in the front. Versatile piece works just as beautifully with a dressy outfit as with jeans and a simple T-shirt. Whether you go classy or casual, you’ll get a lot of compliments on this one!
