Vintage Restoration Polkadot Joan & David Sling Backs

I remembered! to take a before picture, I am so bad with that. Please pay no attention to my ugly feet. These feel like "Pretty Woman" to me. I am thinking of the polka dot dress she wore at the polo match. They are just so adorable, but the foot bed was disintegrating & I knew I could make them live to see another day. They were worth saving, it gives me pleasure to do so. I replaced the old with a piece of real leather that matches the tone of the satin, also replaced the inner liner to the sling & cleaned the entire shoe. It looks as if they were just stored very poorly as the heels are in mint condition. They are a dark olive green with a cream polkadot with cream patent vinyl accents. They are just spectacular. Sizing is 10M feels true. Do not expect perfection, these are old shoes. However, on the foot those imperfections fade away & you are left with a really great vintage statement shoe. No word of a lie, definitely an accessory that will change the narrative. You know... the one that all of us females make up in our heads when we see a woman dressed uniquely.
