The iconic pattern which consists of 43 different types of flowers, insects and plants (and if you didn’t already know, comprises a colour palette of 37 different hues) was created back in 1966 by famed Italian illustrator Vittorio Accornero, with its origins beginning as a silk scarf that was presented as a gift to Princess Grace of Monaco. 53 years later (2019), Gucci’s Creative Director Alessandro Michele has integrated the legendary floral pattern with another house signature, the GG Supreme canvas (this is the very first time the House has combined both designs), making it a collection that’s perfect on so many levels.
