Vintage 1970s MONTREAL LEATHER GARMENT Brown Suede Jacket Removable Liner Size L **PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE MAKING AN OFFER** This rare vintage 1970s suede jacket, made in Canada by Montreal Leather Garment, is incredible. It is in impeccable condition, with two notes. 1. There is some slight fading on the inside lining 2. Most important - there is a very faint odour of cigarette smoke. When I first received it, the smell was stronger but after months of treatment (sunlight exposure, baking soda, vinegar, and vodka), it has improved to barely a detectible smell. A local leather professional suggested the next step was to actually wear the jacket as natural body oils will eliminate any lingering scent over time. I’ve had others smell it, and they didn’t detect anything noticeable. Personally, I’d wear it without hesitation (and I am very sensitive to smells). However, if you are highly sensitive to even the slightest smell, this jacket may not be for you. Jacket sold as described.
