@mightbuythat it might be around $730 to get the exterior redone by LV. So that is why I am leery.

@lhelton7 Louis Vuitton doesn’t repair or replace the coated canvas. If the exterior canvas is damaged, their policy is usually to offer a full bag replacement, which is often much more expensive than $730 and not always available for older models. This one is tagged "AR2029", which is a Made in France piece from the 22nd week of 2009, so it’s considered vintage. My price already reflects both the age and the current condition, and it’s still completely usable as-is without LV repairs.
