Beautiful vintage sterling silver cuff featuring three rich green oval malachite cabochons set in hand-tooled silver. The ornate design includes hand-stamped details, graceful leaf motifs, and a central flower accent — a lovely example of traditional Southwestern silversmith artistry. When I received this it still had the original retail price of $485 written inside the cuff. • Stones: Natural malachite (3 oval cabochons) • Material: Sterling silver (tested, unmarked) • Measurements: Currently sized at 6 3/8” (5 3/8” end to end plus 1” gap) and could be carefully adjusted up to a size 7 or down to a size 6 1/4. The center medallion measures approximately 1 1/8” high. • Condition: Excellent vintage condition with natural patina. The design, materials, and craftsmanship are highly consistent with traditional Native American silversmith work, and the piece is believed to be Native American-made. However, as it is unsigned this cannot be guaranteed. 📌Questions? princesspandas Does this have anything stamped on the back like initials or 925 or Sterling?

alavishwardrobe @princesspandas Unmarked and unsigned but has been acid tested to confirm sterling silver. This is not unusual for vintage native jewelry as they were exempt from the law to mark sterling silver. Also incidentally, you will almost never see a Native American piece signed 925. If it is marked it will say sterling, not 925. The only exception being a small number of contemporary artists.

alavishwardrobe @princesspandas continued from my other response- I would stay away from any native piece marked 925 as that is a sign that it is likely imported from China or the Philippines and not actually NA made.
