Vintage 1920s Sheer Silk Beaded Blouse / S

A gorgeous, genuine Art Deco era blouse in a sheer, lightweight silk! Very pale green, like a cream colour with a hint of mint. The top has a lovely drape, with snaps at either side to close off the waist, and a tie at the front. The sleeves are roughly waist length, with a thoughtful slit at the elbow. There is so much beadwork here! The neckline is traced with two rows of beads, while the front features a magnificent pattern with a row of evil eyes along the bottom, and one on each sleeve. A stunning piece! Please see the measurements for best fit. Antique, in very good condition, overall. The silk is very gently puckered across the back, as you can see in the photo, but I don't find that this detracts. There are two areas pictured where I have pointed out a couple of beads missing. One small, faint spot at the bottom left as pictured. While it is a delicate piece, it is so well made and absolutely wearable.
