Authentic 1930s–early 1940s bias-cut evening gown in a soft dusty rose / mauve rayon charmeuse. Features a sweetheart gathered bodice, slim straps, and a long tiered ruffle skirt with beautiful movement. Classic Hollywood Depression-era silhouette.
Color has that luminous satin sheen typical of period rayon. The bias cut allows a softly clinging fit with fluid drape.
Details:
• 1930s–40s original
• Dusty rose / mauve pink
• Bias cut satin rayon
• Sweetheart ruched bodice
• Slim shoulder straps
• Full-length tiered ruffle skirt
Measurements (laid flat, approximate due to bias stretch):

• Waist: 15” flat (approx 30” around)
• Strap length: 7”
• Length (shoulder to hem): 53”
Condition (As Found / For Restoration, Study, or Styling):
• Scattered age spots and discoloration throughout
