70s vintage blue abstract print sheer long maxi dress resortwear kaftan cover up

this is a lovely vintage semi sheer maxi dress “made in the u.s.a.” from the 70s featuring a multicolor abstract print on a blue background – it is such a statement piece, and the colours remain so lovely and bright despite its age! the sleeveless dress features wide straps, a scoop neckline, and a full maxi length (shown on 5’6 model who is wearing platform wedges). the dress slips over the head with no closure, and the fabric feels like a lightweight, semi sheer polyester that is unlined. the fit is super floaty and airy, making this dress perfect to wear as a summer beach cover up, or layered over a slip dress to a nice dinner on vacation! this vintage garment is tagged as womens size medium and I would say this best fits size medium or large. in excellent vintage condition with a few tiny marks (barely noticeable). measurements (lying flat): bust (pit to pit): 20 across waist: 27-29” across (garment is flowy and has a waist-free fit) centre back length: 45”
