Vintage 50s Candy Jrs Velvet & Plaid Fit & Flare Dress

I'm actually selling my own mother... well, that's how it feels. I've decided to finally let this gorgeous dress go, and it's not easy. It belonged to my mother in the 50s. I was born in 59, and I'm sure that I have subconscious memories of seeing her wear it! It doesn't have a size in it, but if fits my size 6 mannequin perfectly, so I'm calling it a 6. See measurements in pics. The bodice is purple velvet, and it does have some light tiny stains on it. They might come out, if you know how to clean vintage clothes, but they are minor. The skirt is purple, blue and green plaid, and I think it's cotton. It has a few very light stains that get lost in the pleats. You can hardly see them, and they might wash out, carefully! Overall, it's in awesome shape for 75 yrs old!
