Balenciaga First Croc-Embossed Handbag

Balenciaga 103208 “First” Vintage Handbag – Black Croc-Embossed Leather (Spring/Summer 2006). Authentic Balenciaga “First” bag from the iconic City line, crafted in black croc-embossed leather with their original classic silver-tone hardware. This early 2000s piece includes top handles, a detachable shoulder strap, and the signature leather-bound mirror. It has the original silver metal Balenciaga nameplate inside the pocket (a detail unique to early-era bags). Condition: Gently used and very well cared for. It has mostly been stored in my closet over the years and remains in excellent condition with no noticeable wear or tear. Additional Note: The croc-embossed version is no longer produced, as it was part of Balenciaga’s earlier “First” collection. The brand has since updated the design, making this a true vintage piece. The listed original cost reflects the current retail price of the modern version on Balenciaga’s website (refer to last pic). That said, it has all the details you’d expect from an early 2000s Balenciaga, including: Sterling silver interior tag stamped “925”, “Balenciaga. Paris” engraving on nameplate with letter date indicator and style code, serial number engraved on the back of the metal tag including style number, made in Italy, signature leather-bound mirror, and classic Balenciaga hardware from that era.
