80s vintage black pure silk front tie bow long sleeved bodysuit leotard blouse

this is a super chic long sleeved black blouse bodysuit made of 100% silk, designed by otto kern in the 1980s - it's so versatile and perfect for layering! the vintage garment is constructed as two layers, with the long sleeves and large front bow that drapes over the front being a pure silk. underneath this layer is a stretchy black leotard with a high bikini cut that fastens at the crotch with three metal snaps. two buttons adorn each of the sleeves, and the leotard fastens at the back with a long black zipper. this piece is such a closet staple and can be worn in both casual and dressy settings, across all seasons! it can be styled in infinite ways such as under leather pants, denim jeans, a pencil skirt and more. tagged as vintage size 3, and I would say this best fits womens size small or medium. in excellent vintage condition with very minor scuffing and runs. measurements (lying flat): bust (armpit to armpit): 14” across (28” when doubled) shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 6” sleeve length (measured from shoulder seam): 24” sleeve opening: 3.5” waist: 12.5” (25” when doubled, but garment can stretch) armpit to crotch seam: 17” centre back length (top of collar to crotch seam): 30”
