This beautiful 9.5" oversized LED Illuminated Egg w scroll design and gems comes from a major shopping network. It is resin and can be used indoors or outdoors. It operates on 2 AA batteries and has an on, off, and 6 hour timer switch. Any flaws you may see in the paint in photos appear to be manufacturing flaws and not damage. The gem on the top and some of the smaller ones on the sides are not meant to light up but sparkle all on their own. There are 4 large lighted gems around the circumference of the egg.
