A little bit about Me

Aloha! I’m Momi, aka Dr Frankenstyle. I am currently on a Personal Journey to re-define my purpose in making a meaningful contribution in this Life. I am working every day to align my passions for Fashion, helping people, Malama Aina (caring for the land/planet), giving back to the Community, and giving forward to Future Generations with my mission to learn, love, live authentically and be a little better today than I was yesterday. Living Sustainably can relate to many aspects in life. When it comes to Fashion I believe it’s a mind set and the way we approach our personal style, our wardrobe, and making informed and responsible choices in maintaining those. I am learning every day about ways of being more sustainable with my choices. When it comes to Fashion I am doing my own research and due diligence as to how I can make a difference by making changes in how I approach shopping for clothes, caring for clothes, and then recycling, up-cycling, or donating them. Dr Frankenstyle is my up-cycling brand and sustainable styling service to create new and cool things out of old things, share my knowledge of sustainable fashion practices, and help others to also be more sustainable with their fashion and wardrobe choices. I’m doing this by highlighting the Brands that are truly doing the work to be sustainable, and providing people with the information I’ve learned and giving them options to be more responsible and sustainable while maintaining their unique personal style.
