Hi! I'm Karen. Some of my favorite brands are Johnny Was, Free People, Spell and the Gypsy Collective, Chasing Unicorns, Sundance, Dansko, Keen, Ariat, Old Gringo, Fleuvog.. I am very ecclectic and love anything with a boho, vintage and unique vibe. I love authentic Guatamalan and Mexican folk art and textiles, trade beads, vintage purses and hand bags, Chinese and Japanese cloissonne, Middle Eastern textiles, decorations, jewelry Native American jewelry and art...and ofcourse most things horse oriented! I am an art enthusiast and may be just a bit of an artist at heart. 💜

shunshyne Hi Karen, I took the halter partially off and turned it to the side so your feather won't get smashed. It's obvious from your beautiful cover picture that you know how to put a halter on a horse. LOL. What a stunning paint!!! BTW

I thought this horse would be the perfect way to memorialize him this Christmas. The horse I'm on in my profile pic is my Gypsy Vanner draft Springsteen! He is my big, sweet heart horse. ❤️

gypsykaren618 @uovitt ❤ You're so welcome! I love your closet with all the horsey jewelry! Yes, Springsteen is my boy. I have done all the training on him since he was a yearling. Our latest thing to learn is driving. We work with a driving trainer about 3 times a week, and I help him with two other Gypsies! it's so much fun! Do you have a Haflinger?

uovitt @gypsykaren618 I teach riding lessons at my friends barn in the summer and visit the horses 🐴 all year! I also give clinics and I am a carded horse show judge for New England. I’ve had horses since before I can remember. I’ve trained many hoses but I love rescuing and rehabbing then placing them in a lifelong home that is a match with them. I have ridden in the AZ desert 🌵 in the washes and also at night.

gypsykaren618 @uovitt How cool is that! sounds like we have alot in common! You have a great gig for sure.💜 I've been horse training and giving lessons for about 30 of my 56 years. Started riding lessons when I was 4! I used to enjoy showing dressage and jumping. It's been a long time though. Now I mainly do little combined training schooling shows and have started doing Working Equitation over the past few years.
