mytherapy @jessregelson Hi Jess! You are so sweet, thank you! Well, recovery is slower than I thought, I've probably still got another 6-7 months to go. But I'm getting stronger! And school starting was so very sad for me. My littlest started kindergarten. I fought back my tears (as usual!) on the first day, then came home to a super quiet lonely house. My little lunch date is gone! 😥 But the girls love school as always, so I'm happy about that! How have you been?

jessregelson I've been crazy busy, Mina! Very little poshing of late! My son and Brazilian daughter-in-law are having their USA wedding in less than 2 weeks. And I'm moving my studio of the last 12 years to another location. Lots going on, but GOOD things. My son, his wife and my grandson (16 months) have been living with us since they arrived from Brazil in May. I love having them! I understand completely about the school Blues. I used to feel that way too when the kids were small. Big hugs to you, dear!

The only reason I am even on PM much lately is b/c I had surgery and was out. I had reconstructive surgery on my right hip in August, for labral tear, and I took a break for that- haven't been able to get back into it the same way since. Did you also have an ortho surgery? I saw your comment about PT. I am still doing PT! My recovery is at least a year total, seems like forever. Hope you are recovering well and all is good with the new home! :)

cmc514 GIRL too funny... OK, not funny at all, but rather coincidental! I had a labral repair! The full works too, labral and capsular repair with osteoplasty of the femur. UGH Yes the recovery is a long one, but I'll take it over a THR any day! I'm just over 4 weeks out and had to go back to work already (at 3), part time/light duty.

mytherapy @cmc514 Ha! That's crazy! My labrum was so shredded that I had to have it reconstructed with cadaveric fascia. I had the osteoplasty and reshaping on the pelvis too. But I couldn't even drive for 7-8 weeks! He didn't want me to go back to work for 12 weeks but I went back at 8. It was rough. I don't know how you did it!

mytherapy @cmc514 and I may be ahead in time, surgery was 8/13, but recovery is SO slow!!! I just started to have a few relatively pain-free days. So much up and down. And SOOOO much PT!!! So yes, I definitely think we can support each other through this! 😘

goldrose48 @mytherapy Yay I'm glad you're doing better! Constant pain is not fun so it's good to hear you're on the right side of recovery! It's been crazy busy here with work travel and holidays so I haven't been poshing as much as before either. It took being snowed in for 3 days before I could finally catch up on here. And it'll snow again tomorrow! Hopefully a lot! I heard Colorado has been slammed with snow so if you get tired of it, send all the snow my way! Preferably next week for my ski trip 😀

mytherapy @cmc514 Hi Claire! Yes, I totally know about the defeated feeling! But I'd say it sounds like you're doing a lot better than I did, I was on crutches for 7 weeks and went back to work at week 9! There's been a lot of setbacks. My first major one was at about 9-10 weeks, after I went back to work and on a quick weekend trip to Chicago. I've learned a lot about how all the muscles in that area can work together or not, to create some significant dysfunction. Pelvic floor included. 😥

mytherapy @kellyk0830 I think the worst is when it looks so nice in the seller's closet, then you get it and it looks terrible and cheap 😔 on this sweater, I didn't think it was itchy, and I'm pretty fussy about that too. Smart to wait and see the gray before purchasing, it's possible that it's a different shade. For some reason I thought you got the charcoal one the other night...

mytherapy I guess you could wear strapless if you want the off shoulder look- but it stays up nicely too so can wear a regular bra too. It is shorter from shoulder to hem than it looks, I saw she posted pics. Which is ok for me, because I'm barely 5'0". @kellyk0830

mytherapy @mpizazz hi! I got a small, I’m usually XS, 0-2, 25 in jeans. I LOVE this jacket! It fits really well, could layer a light sweater underneath but not anything bulky. It is very very pretty, looks more expensive than it is- I got the burgundy color and it’s so pretty and unique! Do you have any of her other jackets? I think it’s similar fit to the vegan leather with knit jacket insert, I think she called it the eternity jacket.
