bunheadyogi @bookzapalooza I’m still pretty new to Poshmark and from a psychological perspective, I find this platform to be amazing. I’m actually learning a lot about myself, which closets hook me in to take a peek. Typically, it’s going to be a picture of cat, lol, or someone smiling. I’ve also found that I prefer closets where people take the time to take their own photos. Not stock photography. I like the little details. 🙃 Thanks for the chat!

bunheadyogi Lol, foot in mouth regarding stock photography. You have a nice blend of both. Sometimes, when that’s all that’s in a closet, it just looks very sterile to me. Which could be the esthetic that the seller is looking for, I just find that I’m drawn to warmer photos. Lol. Sorry, that was probably more information than you cared to know. 🤣

cottagegifts Where are you in the first photo? Trip to England? If you look up the ruins of Ratcliff castle, those were my ancestors I believe. I’m something like the 30th great granddaughter of King Edward “Longshanks” etc. It’s wild that my family members were sharecroppers in Arkansas & Texas by the 1920s...That sure shows how fortunes can change! (Especially down the female lineage if ya don’t inherit l!) I wish I had a couple more lifetimes so I could really collect and write about the family story.

Laura Lippman, Ruth Ware, Celeste Ng. This year I loved Blacktop Wasteland, Winter Counts, The Herd, When No One is Watching.
