@sarrah You are too sweet! I spent forever trying to find a set up for photos that both showed the item to it’s fullest and looked aesthetically pleasing. I’m so glad it shows. I feel like sales and engagement are still rather slow for me sadly though. Do you happen to have any tips or things you noticed I could improve?

@honeynthistle I read a lot of reddit blogs about poshmark and it seems like everyone experience inconsistencies here and there but sales for them pick back up. I wouldn't worry about slow sales with your closet. You have an amazing closet. Just keep adding more inventory :)

@honeynthistle yeah I plan to do Poshmark part time and that means having at least 500+ active listings for buyers to choose from. The more listings you have, the more options buyers have, and also more bundling options. Good luck to you!

@ahlalavie Thank you so much for your kind words. Our photos are a constant struggle for me as I’m always trying get then to be a nice as I can. I normally just us my iPhone on the square or Portrait setting when I take the photos. Then I’ll go back in the apps Snapseed or VSCO and edit to get the colors to show as closely as they can to in person.

@amyraescloset I’m so sorry for the delay in my reply. I got a little behind on comments this last week. All our closet photos have been taken with just a regular iPhone 8+. I normally use the square or portrait mode when I take the photo. Then I got back and edit using the app Snapseed to correct whites and make sure all my colors are as close to the color of the items in person.

@tambrew34 Awe 💕! Thanks for reaching out! I normally use the app Snapseed to edit my whites + color correct. Most of our photos are taken in a spare room but I know plenty of people who use closets, living rooms or even their bedroom as backgrounds. There 2 big ways of doing backgrounds here on Posh that I’ve seen either less detailed ones like a plain sheet or wall or there are ones with more going on like seeing part of a room. +

@tambrew34 No matter what the #1 thing I’ve found with backgrounds is the lighting as it changes the look/feel of an item regardless of where it’s taken. Natural light is always best but 1-2 lamps up high can also do the trick. I hope all that helps 😂. Feel free to let me know if I can give you any other tips or if you have more questions.
