What’s the pit to,put measurement, please?

@suemartins I tried to take a photo for you but I’m not sure it shows well. I’d say it’s 16” flat, but the distance from the side seam to the strap on each side (about 4”) is elastic, and stretches to 4.5”, adding an extra inch to the measurement when stretched.
