Hi! I'm Anya. I've been selling on Poshmark since May 2023, I may not be a natural at selling (and certainly I won't be selling live online, I'm way too introvert for that!) but on the upside, I bring to it a lifetime of caring for people combined with a Christian ethos, so hopefully nothing will go wrong! I genuinely care about all my interactions with people (and animals), and I try to do my best in every corner of my life, wherever that may be. I'll always be willing to help and go the extra mile. So just let me know if I can help, and if there's any way, I will!!
I'm over 50 now (57 to be precise) and by now, my ethos in life and as a seller is best encompassed in "the golden rule" = treat others in the way you want to be treated yourself. That means that
1. I only sell things in a condition in which I myself would want to buy them.
2. I will always go the extra mile.
3. All my items will come to you clean, fresh smelling, and extra well packaged to protect them in transit.
4. I charge honest prices, ideally below the price charged by others.
5. I make an effort to show kindness, honesty and openness in all my dealings with other people (in every part of my life, not just online).
6. I'm a Christian and I will gladly discuss Jesus with you, or tell you about how I found Jesus. At some point someone helped me and it helped me so much, it changed my life!!
7. I'm always happy to help!

@savvyanya so how long did it take you to get a sale? Did you feature the item through a posh party or was it bought directly from your wardrobe?

@dbr162 it was bought directly from the listings. I don't know why or how she found it, maybe she looked for "kids pink blazer" and I had the only listing. I find it is very time intensive to list, and I've only had 2 sales in a weeks worth of work, pretty much using every minute of spare time (2 kids at home during the holidays so it's not THAT. much time, but still). I am going to give it a good go but so far not that much interest π€·πΌ

@debsecs I'm sorry to hear that. I heard before that it's not straightforward. I have seen others struggle with cameras, with bandwidth, even with sound, little issues quite common i think. I don't think I will do any party soon π. will you have another go?

@debsecs I would say about 4x or more there as here on PM. I found it quite disappoinging really that selling is quite slow here, but I keep using it. I use an app that posts my listings across pla tforms from this one to the other one that i just mentioned, and all the photos are carried across as well as the description. so I only have to list everything once. I hope this helps. I have written more detailed information but PM keeps deleting my messages!

@debsecs Hi Debs i'm amazed your message wasn't deleted I'm trying to write a message but it isnt let through. The app i'm using is 2 words, the first and last word of the next sentence.. LOL! Crosslist and then the word magic. it's incredibly useful and at the sametime inexpensive.
