Almost 100 yrs old!!!! 1930’s luxury item, sophisticated fashion at that time! Preowned and in excellent condition for its age. Only requires a few stitches on the little inside pocket. The crocheting itself is mint - no pulls, snags or repairs. The handle shows wear consistent with age Crochet in fine popcorn stitch - beautiful workmanship - gemstone colours which look a little different in different lighting - dark navy hinged ornate handle (floral motifs) which I’m told by an antique dealer is Bakelite Clasp is called a kissing clasp Liner is light blue iridescent satin with a little open pocket on one side. One corner of the pocket requires a few stitches to secure. I won’t risk compromising the value of the bag by repairing the corner.
