Antique Oriental Silk Jade Carnelian Pouch with Dragon Design

Stunning black and gold bag handmade of luxurious silk brocade. Features a dragon design, a brass hinged frame, and an ornate solid brass floral foldover clasp encasing a large carnelian gemstone and two jade gemstones. There is a self-fabric hand or belt slide on the back. I believe this may be a Japanese Tobacco Pouch, but I can't be sure. • 9" x 5" x 1" • Gold silk lining • Two interior slide pockets • Gemstones tested on the Presidium Gem Tester II Very nice condition for its age. Very minor wear to the exterior fabric. The metal has tarnish, which I left unpolished because I didn't want to ruin the silk.
