It can for most laptops. Its very easy to put in or take out stuff since it doesnt have a zipper or buttons to close, but deep enough not to spill. Its a stand along so you dont need to worry in putting it down. The canvas is still very bright and in very good condition. The interior is very clean without a foul smell. A few things to note would be cracks and tiny tears on handles. There are also a few discolouration and watermarks on vachetta. Hardware is gold.
