BLING Mermaid Trumpet GORGEOUS Dress See size chart for measures. New w/ tags, but tried on as a sample. Great shape, see pics for details (some beads need re-attaching, may need extra hook or eye, zipper at bum needs mending on the size 2). Prom dresses are made for very tall, large breasted women, & almost always need alterations for perfect fit! The quality of these gowns are heads & shoulders above anything you can buy at the mall! twifflie @mystylecrush if you're willing to drop this to $120 with free shipping then I'll buy it. If you do that today (January 9) then Poshmark will cover half the cost of shipping for you (it's the weekly Closet Clear-Out special where they always cover part of the shipping discount if you edit the listing to be a low enough price)

mystylecrush @twifflie Hi there! I sent another offer, but I can't go that low; I own a store, & this dress is already priced well below my cost. It's BNWT, in perfect condition, & after the posh fees (& the shipping fee would also eat into my margin), I still pay my taxes to the government on it (as I do all of my sales). After what you're suggesting, I would clear $67 on this dress... I just can't afford that. It's already a very good deal on a gorgeous dress, but this is the lowest I can go. Thanks!

twifflie @mystylecrush I just checked and if you lowered it to $120 with free shipping, you would make $90, not $67. This is because Poshmark covers part of the shipping cost today only (Closet Clear-Out Day). Can you lower it to $130 with $6.99 shipping?

mystylecrush @twifflie Thanks for checking. Poshmark also charges tax on their income after the sale (which brings it down to $84), and then I pay the government the 15% HST required on all my sales, so it really is less than $70 I would make. It's just business, but I can't only take home less than $70 for a dress I paid almost $300 for (plus tax plus shipping). I get it, I'm liquidating it, but I have sent an offer that is $144 plus $6.99 shipping ($150 total for a $600 dress...). You just indicated you'd

mystylecrush @twifflie pay $136.99, so we're talking about a difference of $13 for you. But as a small business owner during covid, everything adds up. I don't mind doing markdowns, but when I price stuff that low it's usually because it needs a small repair, or a cleaning... If I can't get fair value after markdowns, I'll just relist it rather than continue to mark it down. People will be more looing for prom dresses over the next few months. Sorry for any inconvenience or misunderstanding!
