Hello! Welcome to my closet where I LOVE giving you a good deal-especially in this economy. Please know my items are carefully inspected for flaws (though occasionally I miss one!); WASHED and or STEAMED (with my amazing Jiffy Steamer!!). hellosusiebrown @sytillman63 I’m in the same boat as you this eve (the same buyer is claiming the lulus I just sold her are fake), and I noticed she purchased from you and now has the same complaint. Just curious if you know of any other tips to spot fakes? The pair I sold were a Christmas gift a few years ago. I’ve never had a complaint before, even when selling my older Lulus, so this is new territory for me. I’d be horrified if I unknowingly sold someone a fake!

sytillman63 @hellosusiebrown good morning—I’ve written to PM. The more I thought about it, I think she’s possibly trying to get refunded by claiming fake and then possibly re sell or keep items so she has them for free. I researched more about PM guidelines and once the item had been accepted/money deposited, there are no refunds/returns. So I think we will both be ok-unless your sale hasn’t been closed.

hellosusiebrown @sytillman63 ...the size dot not having numbers or the crotch being a different color, I think those are just older “models” of the pants. I’ve asked her a few times to add a picture of the entire hang tag (mine still had the hang tag) but she hasn’t, which makes me suspicious too.

sytillman63 As of about an hour go she changed the rating on the my pants from a 5 to a 3! I’m hoping PM can see the trail she left of changes, comments, etc. Has yours had any updates? I think she would have to have real proof of fakes to “win” her case.

hellosusiebrown @sytillman63 so they approved her case with me since she hadn’t yet accepted, they were understanding and made it clear to me that they weren’t necessarily saying the pants were fakes, but the case approval comment was “couldn’t fully confirm authenticity” since there’s no way to prove one way or the other. Super crazy and the first I’ve ever experienced anything like this!! Especially on Lulus with a hang tag and size dot!!

As for mine: they said they couldn’t tell the outcome because of privacy; that tells me she lost that one. It was easy tho because it had been so long. I’ve now blocked her.

sytillman63 @sharonslate well a lot of postal Mail and packages are hung up in the system; I’d say most of the things I’ve mailed in last few weeks still haven’t come in yet. PM has a little info on it that maybe you can refer to. Unfortunately it’s totally out of my hands once I turn it over to the USPS. I think with the holidays/Covid they fell way behind. I still haven’t received Christmas gifts from my family either. Crossing fingers!

delcie11 @sytillman63 yes^^^ I didn't receive my Christmas decorations from posh that was shipped on December 6th until the day after Christmas 🤦🏻‍♀️ and I received 4 posh Christmas presents the day after New Year's, the PO was not ready for Christmas, it only comes every year 😂 okay sorry for eavesdropping 😊 I know covid has slowed things up but it was ridiculous how my one package actually sat in Baltimore from the 6th until the 24th🤷🏻‍♀️

sytillman63 @bsmamascloset Thanks for the compliments. Some tips I can give: lighting matters a ton. Daylight is best but not direct sun. I also use a ring light I got off Amazon. I’ve learned also to do flat lays by looking at other closets and also Pinterest. Add as many pictures as possible on your listing. Show or list measurements. Reveal any flaws. Contact Poshmark support for any problem —they are great. I also wash and or steam each of my items.
