I had to buy a rack to put them on, so it will take me several days to get them all up but I'll keep in touch with you everyday and let you know. mistle Good morning, Renee! Taking pictures is really a learning process. If you scroll to the bottom of my closet, you can see the different phases I've been through... Natural light is best. If you can take pictures outside, go for it! I just bought a light kit on Amazon and will probably try it out today. As for props, look around your house, I'm sure you'll find plenty.

mistle All I have bought so far was a pair of jeans shorts for a dollar that I use in shots. Sometimes I get some bougainvillea from the back yard... Keep what you are selling in the center of the shot and accessories off to the sides. I'm very picky (probably too picky 😝) when it comes to composing pictures. I look at my "composition" through the camera and then move something an inch here and there, smooth some wrinkles, etc.

reneet2 @mistle thank you so much for taking the time to give me tips! I understand about the phases, and it's honestly becoming a hobby as well as a supplemental income for me. I just went out and bought several different fake flowers I was looking at a few lighting kits as well. Let me know how you like yours. I took your advice and tried it outside, but i might have to wait until a little later in the afternoon because here in Florida its miserably hot...lol

reneet2 @mistle I know what you mean. Like I have an idea in my head of what i want it to look like and it never comes out that way...lol do you use a camera? I have recently upgraded to an iPhone 7plus , because my other phones pics were awful. Maybe I should look into a camera?

mistle @reneet2 I live in Southern California, so my picture taking time right now is from 7 to 9am 😂 before it gets too hot and I loose my shade. I haven't set up the light kit yet but are planning on it later today. I use my iPad to take pictures... People take amaaazing PM pictures with their iPhones...Don't invest in another device!

mistle @reneet2 Hi there! Me again... I finally took some pictures with the new lighting kit. If you would like to check them out, they are the UO blouse and the James Perse jacket at the top of my closet. I haven't quite figured out how to get rid of all the shadows. The color still needs some adjusting when I use the kit. It takes a bit of time to set up the lights, so if you have enough room to keep them assembled, I would recommend that.
