Comfortable Birkenstock sandals in brown suede. Features adjustable straps. As per item description, "Suede is softer and more flexible by nature and does not have the same stability as smooth leather. The stability of suede also varies from hide to hide." You can appreciate in the photos how the suede doesn't hold its shape and shows faster than classix leather, even with minimal wear (as seen by nearly perfect grips and cork). These imperfections are reflected in the asking price. They are beautiful shoes, I just haven't worn them in two summer seasons. The footbed appears surprisingly worn but when I tried them on to sell, they don't have that molded-to-my-feet type feel that you get with lots of of wear - if you're a Birkenstock person, you know what I mean! Photos taken are aimed to show delicate suede material despite little wear - I hate being surprised by poshmark purchase imperfections so aim for total transparency!
