COURRÈGES Wool and Cashmere Skirt Vintage, Made in France

A beautiful vintage skirt from French designer André Courrèges. Based on the tag and sizing system (it's size A which is about US 4-6) it's likely early 70s. No flaws, minimal signs of wear. It's fabulous, impeccably made, and just a bit too snug for me. Some fashion history: "Opening his own Paris fashion house in 1961, Courrèges translated Balenciaga’s restrained, adult-oriented elegance into an explosion of girlish modernism, while still using couture-level fabrics like double-faced wool, and techniques like welted seams, on his curve-less mini dresses, shockingly short skirts, and even trousers for women!
