Cognac Italian leather Birkin-style 35cm handbag, NWOT, never used

While many of us appreciate the fine craftsmanship and styling that goes into an authentic Hermès bag, few of us can afford that kind of swag, unless we go to one of those shady Chinese sites that manufacture knockoffs (please don't). Fortunately for broke style mavens, there are plenty of manufacturers willing to produce a very similar bag design without all the exclusive branded hardware a d embossed stamps - they're just doing what virtually everyone in the fashion industry has done forever, which is produce a good quality leather bag in a design which has become incredibly popular. Not an exact copy; there are distinct differences in hardware and detailing (clearly machine-stitched for one) - but similar enough in style and proportion to pull off that look of sophistication and refined taste. This bag is finished in what appears to be a Togo grain leather (there is slight visible veining) in a classic gold-cognac shade, and the bag interior is also finished in a finer undyed leather, possibly chevre.
