Cross Ring with Gems

Ring has the symbol 925 on the inside, not 100% sure what it means as I'm not a jewelry expert, google hasn't really helped. Ring size is 2cm my best guess is that it is a size 7.5 ring as I typically wear 6.5-7 and it only fit on my thumb.
