I’ve built followers, shared items (I genuinely check out closets, it’s addicting, and not just shared 1st item listed) made offers, dropped prices, participated in Posh Parties. Haven’t used social media as I don’t do twitter or IG. Won’t use FB as it’s strictly personal. Any suggestions? Would be much appreciated.

msistersm Hello Ingrida. Thanks for liking one of the Burberry scarfs I have listed. Wish I had some suggestions for you re: sales, I'm also having many "likes" w/o buying. Try putting a personal picture up, people like to see who they deal with. Some nice people, many are looking for X+ quality at firesale prices. Kind of like going to a bakery and just looking at what looks good, then not choosing one to nibble on. Hope your sales start to happen. In the mean time, stay safe!

inasvytis @iranybrito Thanks for your motivational message! Honestly, I’m struggling a bit. Get constant flow of followers and shares, but little to no likes or sales. I’ve tried updating my closet with better pics, different pricing (hi/low), offers/discounts, sharing to Posh Parties. I’ve checked out videos on YouTube for helpful tips - but nothing seems to work. I don’t mind putting in time, but not seeing much success. Can’t seem to crack the code - any suggestions?

inasvytis @janfast Glad you noticed the Dom:) I don't like posting pics of myself, so scrambled and came up with the idea to post the bottle instead. It was a Vintage 2004 for a very special occastion. I don't drink Dom often (usually Veuve or Moet), but I must say, it was delicious! Gorgeous, tiny effervescent bubbles!! Stay healthy and safe!

inasvytis @co_spgs_closet Thanks for reaching out! Doing this for 2 mo & almost gave up. Don’t mind spending time/enjoy it (addicted:), but giving it 1 more week. BAM! Tonight received offers on 15 items! Multiple offers on 3. That’s where I got lost/how to counter. Plus, offers were same. Ex: 3 $19 on tie. I sent a note saying there were x same offers, so send counter if you’d like. Or, I’ll pick who made offer 1st. Not comfortable w countering (don’t like it), unless for crazy low ball. Suggestions?

seekristenshop @inasvytis hang in there! I've had weeks like that - and sometimes in the past it was months in between sales on various platforms. I think as we all get vaccinated and people can be out more, you'll sell more. You have very high quality pieces and nice things for the home too. As people begin to feel better about spending, I know they'll shop with you. Just share share share and trust that it will come back around. That's always my plan! GOOD LUCK.

inasvytis @seekristenshop Good to know I'm not the only one. Thought maybe I was just not getting how it works. Also, I don't have PS "Ambassador" status, which maybe is hurting me too? I'm only missing a "love note" and need more available items. I have a lot of "not for sale" bc I'm temporarily in FL, so only sharing items I have with me. Does "Ambassador" status help significantly? If so, I can address these missing requirements:) Also, I've read about sharing "bots" - is this a helpful/allowable tool?

seekristenshop @inasvytis YES! The ambassador status allows Poshmark to promote you as a seller as well as gives you the ability to help host parties. Hosting doesn't always guarantee sales but it does help get eyes on your closet - and folks sharing your listings. Again, I don't think anything is guaranteed but the more you list, the more you share, and the more you promote your listings and others - I think it's helpful. From what I understand, bots aren't allowed. I don't use them but I know others do.
