DKNY wrap-effect dress

Whatever happened to magenta? I feel like it was usurped by fuschia somewhere around 1983 and I didn't encounter it again until I found this in a vintage shop in the fall of 2018. Wore it twice - I just don't go to enough events that warrant this kind of classic beauty. Camisole lining - sheer sleeves and upper back. DVF effect with tie-waist. I'm 5'2" and it falls just below the knee on me. Be a subtle standout and you might just bring back magenta 😊
