From the top of the bag to the other side (top of the bag) is 47”, each side of the leather strap has an adjustable buckle; 7 holes in each side and both adjustable buckle are set to the first hole, it can be easily extended. If it is too long, you can take it to the cobbler, they can punch a couple more holes to make it shorter. I hope that helps!
