A decade ago, we teamed up with Hello Kitty for a joint birthday celebration/collaboration. The Japanese brand was celebrating 50 years of alternative Harajuku attitude, while we marked 50 years of the 1460 boot. Ten years on and, naturally, we both have new anniversaries to celebrate. The two brands are overdue for a reunion. The new Dr. Martens x Hello Kitty collection fuses tough DM's silhouettes with colorful Sanrio motifs. This hard-hitting sandal is set on a towering triple-height platform and crafted from all vegan materials. Decked out with bows and Hello Kitty motifs on the two-strap upper as well as a removable collaboration tag, the sandals are finished with yellow welt stitching and a vegan scripted heel loop.
