🦋EUC - Vera Neumann (AKA "Usna") 100% Square Silk Scarf; Blue w/Black Design

Guess what? "Usna" is actually "Vera"! Vera Neumann, to be precise. The gorgeous scarf details are lower down. Here is a part of what I learned: "Sometimes you just never know what you have in your possession till you decide to research it. She is an American Designer of screen printed fabrics, which are used in scarves, clothing, home décor, etc. AND... With the help of this fantastic posting (thebirdcagevintage on Tumblr: "How to date a vintage Vera Neumann scarf"), I determined that this one is most likely from the 1970s. You haven't owned a scarf until you've owned a vintage Vera Neumann scarf. Her gorgeous and varied designs make her a designer that anyone can love. Vera designed from the late 1940s up until her death in 1993. In 1959 her designers were copyrighted and the copyright symbol was added to her signature. In the 1970s the Vera signature would continue to grow, and the ladybug would disappear. Material: 100% Silk Condition: like new, considering it's age, there are just a few tiny holes that are only visible up very close. The only one I could show in a picture is in the photo with the pen. They don't appear to be spreading. They must be from time.***I discovered one other small hole, possibly from cutting off a thread? I truly don't know. The cost has been reduced to reflect this. Colours: Bright Blue with a Black Pattern Size: Square shaped, 29" on each side (please note these are not guaranteed as they were done by me😃) Origin: Made in Japan
