These are great shorts for summertime! The drawstring waistband gives them a good amount of stretch, and the fabric in the waistband is very comfortable. The inseam is long enough to cover all but an inch above the knee (I'm 5' 4'' for reference). The fabric throughout the rest of the short is thin enough to keep you cool and dry, but thick enough that it's completely opaque (not see-through). I loved these shorts and wore them for 2 years, but they no longer fit me. They are still in great condition (see photos). I have another pair available in olive green as well, same size.
