FOSSIL Burnished Leather Briefcase / Messenger Bag /

This beautiful and VERY RARE bag comes from ARCHIVE collection of well known American label FOSSIL. It is a true replica of European WWII cavalry saddle messenger bag made in Alps for the Swiss army. ALL LEATHER BAG with the exception of interior canvas pockets. EXCELLENT WORKMANSHIP! Handcrafted in fine and thick saddle burnished leather to give a vintage "ARCHIVE" look and nice patina. Bags condition is GOOD with obvious signs of use. I will rate it 7 of 10. Exterior- several scratches and scuffs here and there but the leather is in excellent supple condition. Fine hand stitched details all over. Interior- pristine and odorless. One large and another zippered spaces with two cotton pockets. Previous owner added some leather home character that was riveted to the canvas pockets. So the bigger zippered space not fully accessible but partitioned in two (last photo). Riveted stress points. Heavy-duty aged brass hardware. Comes with original ALL LEATHER wide shoulder strap in it's original wrapping. Dimensions: 15.5"W x 12"H x 3"D. Original retail price was $349 in 2008.
