myprecious50 Love what you’re doing to help women in recovery from addiction. What people don’t realize is addiction doesn’t discriminate, it affects people of all backgrounds! I know firsthand from my daughter who gave up her kids and became homeless and addicted to meth. Worst year of my life not knowing if she was alive or had overdosed. She’s now clean and sober for a year. Bless you for your kind heart!

rootedandrising @myprecious50 thank you & I pray that she continues in her recovery! So glad she was able to get clean & stay that way, some people don’t make it to a year so that’s a huge accomplishment. As a recovering addict, my advice for you would be to always make a big deal about the little accomplishments, like getting a job, a home, staying clean etc. they are little accomplishments but to an recovering addict they’re big victories. 😊

myprecious50 @rootedandrising Thank you for your kind words. I will definitely keep in touch and appreciate the prayers. She’s my only daughter and I don’t know what I would do without her. Every step up is a milestone and by June of this year she will complete her time in recovery court and that worries me that she may backslide.

Lol sometimes I can pull off small miracles while trying to repark my car.... afterwards looked down to my screen to see a picture of your smiling face and a message from Posh that reads, “Congratulations your Purchase is Complete” I was like cool beans! I would’ve paid more! Lol. Unfortunately Thera, you were charging WAY too much to ship yourself, you should really lighten up! Hahah! (That last bit was a postal dad joke- for my hubby, who is also a mailman;)
