Welcome to the Library @DesigNerd Studio. You may be wondering why this Poshmark shop is called a library… Simply put, the Library is more a place where I’d like to hang vs a closet. It’s my personal belief that no one belongs in the closet. So we move out of the metaphorical closet and over a couple doors to the Library. There’s more room for the two of us and I’m more likely to be wearing pants. The literal story of the Library relates to my formal profession from which I am currently taking a break. My sole occupation prior to 2020 was as Prinical Interior Designer at my firm, DesigNerd Studio. I incurred an injury which has had myriad consequences. Spending days & nights on job sites just isn’t possible now. Every firm has a design library where fixture, finish, and equipment samples/resources are contained. Since the most successful surgery, I’ve transformed the DesigNerd Studio design library into the main work area for what used to be a fun hobby (Poshmark). Now, this shop is a full-time gig and most of the activities necessary to keep it afloat happen here in the old design library. XOXO @DesigNerd
