I'm Persian poet/philosopher Rumi’s 28th Great-Granddaughter. Born in 1970 & raised by hippies, I’ve revelled in boho attire since birth. My favorite brands are Free People & Young, Fabulous & Broke (YFB). I’m a native Southerner, but lived outside Philly for a few years in my 20’s (where FP began), and I’ve been FP-obsessed since purchasing my first item. For the last two decades, I’ve also collected Native American, Israeli & Bollywood style jewelry. I’ve battled the rare, incurable, neurological syndromes, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy & Trigeminal Neuralgia since 2005. When my daughter left for college in 2017, she encouraged me to begin selling on Posh as a distraction. I enjoy Poshing, along with Southwest travel, swimming, water aerobics, MLB, gemology & music (grunge, alt & psychedelic rock, BTS, BigBang & G-Dragon). 🌻 Because we cannot anticipate what obstacles may lie ahead... that Bucket List of yours... do it now. 🌻

The necklace wasn’t in the box, and when I did that whole “not as described” ...she never commented, apologized, nothing. We’d had numerous conversations prior to that, and I was completely dumbfounded. I ended up with a credit, but really wanted the necklace as a gift.

But what’s really out of control (as if that wasn’t bad enough), is the collection of shoes I wore once, found uncomfortable & never wore again. And the boots. Two pairs I’ve never worn, one of which I considered a work of art & didn’t want to mess them up. Who does that?!?

As crazy as I am for clothes & boots, the thing I love most is Native American jewelry. That’s my passion, stems from our Southwestern travels when my daughter was still a teen, still under my control. When she travels now, it’s with her friends. *sigh

I tripped in my living room on something random and broke a tiny bone in my foot. I ended up six weeks later in a full cast up to my knee. Like you said... bohobyhope @riglem65 Wow! After all that time. Yesterday, PM sent a message saying they’d issue me a full refund. I was glad to hear that. I’ll not order from that seller in the future. I noticed the top of the teardrop pendant was soldered off kilter, and for the bracelet, part of the two-latch clasp was broken. I may take the bracelet to a jeweler, depending on how much they think it would cost to repair. It is pretty & unique from anything else I have.

bohobyhope @fashionfauxpas ~ Then years back the city thought it would be a great idea to open our road up to the highway that runs from Florida to Maine. Brilliant. Anyway, we still have the playhouse out back visible in my photos (now used as garden shed) & there’s a small lake visible in the winter after the leaves have fallen. I miss the quiet solitude we once enjoyed & every day I long for the mountains, but for now, this is home. Just another gypsy with her heel stuck in a bit of quicksand. 😊

A day on which the air conditioner of my daughter’s 2004 car was declared as toast & parts alone would cost double the present value of the car. And we haven’t the funds to make this repair because silly me dumped every cent I had or could borrow into my little Posh operation that hasn’t quite taken off. Oh boy.

I’ve been ill since 2005, but if I listed all the syndromes, I’m not sure anyone would believe me. I’ve been on a sharp decline since October, but see a new Rheumatologist tomorrow, so there’s hope. I had to squeeze in all the traveling we could because I knew a time was approaching when I’d no longer be well enough to do so. We loved Zion, Bryce, Arches, Moab, Monument Valley & our gorgeous ride on Hwy 12. Had the best lunch ever in Torrey. But our favorite was beautiful Lake Powell. How anyone makes it up Angel’s Landing in Zion NP, just wow!!!

I cut short all that remained & wore lots of berets & hats. To this day, my hair is still filling in, but I’m hopeful. I don’t think others realize how stressful hair loss is (especially for women), and how broken & helpless it can make you feel. Your wigs are gorgeous, and having these options will bring hope to so many! 💛
