Gorgeous Vintage Aquascutum Tweed Coat with Matching Scarf.

This cream and black tweed A-line coat is gorgeous and would be very easy to wear as an everyday winter coat. It is in very good vintage condition—the only sign of wear that I can find is on the left cuff, where the wool is a bit worn at the hem. It is fully lined in a lovely beige satin. There is a vent in the back and the pockets are fully lined. The good condition of the tags speaks to the gentle care that it has received over its life. Plus the matching scarf! I haven't been able to date this coat. The label was commonly used in the 60's but it could have been made anytime after 1964, which is when the woolmark symbol was introduced. — very good vintage condition. — 100% Virgin Wool (it's not itchy!) — Made in England — Freshly cleaned and deodorized — matching scarf Keep in mind that truly “pristine” vintage items are exceptionally rare, if they exist at all.
