denimdad I don’t understand- is the waist 31” or 34”?

scubastyle @denimdad Thanks for your comment. Because of vanity sizing conventions in men’s denim, the waist tag and the actual waistband measurement rarely match up. Most denim, in my experience, measures 1.5-3” larger than the tag says. So, while the tag says 31”, when I measured the inside of the waistband with a tailor’s tape, it measured 34”. Best thing to do is measure a similar pair of jeans that fit you before purchasing.

denimdad @scubastyle thanks, I’ve never noticed this before. Now I need to measure all my jeans to find out out what size I actually wear. My current Wranglers tag is 31”
