tamarismom @shanallc you don’t have to worry about shipping. The buyer pays for shipping unless you are having a private sale and you decide to discount the shipping. It’s a flat rate for up to 5 lbs. Some people bundle and buy 2 or more of your items at same time and pay one shipping ($6.49)

When some shares your item you don't know if there follower could be your next sale. Share your closet many times a day. Someone's advice to me was share your items heavily on the 15th and last day of month (pay day). ☕️😍

joyous1953 @shanallc get started by posting your first item. Go to sell icon at bottom of your page. Take good photos of your item and then fill in the items of brand, etc describe your item in as much detail as you can measurements etc. then fill in your pricing info and up in the right corner hit list button. It will display your listing in your closet.

joyous1953 Then any time you want to share that item from your closet tap on it and once again hit list. It will be shared to all of your followers. It's beneficial to you to follow others and a percentage will follow you back and that will help you build your followers.

Most party notifications I get, I'm automatically invited to. I usually get a notification to 'Join' when I hop onto Poshmark (& every time after that) for the duration of the party. idbeads @shanallc I’m going to send you some messages about how I do it. I sent them to someone else with questions. Maybe it will help you too. Read them when you have time. I post to both. It’s easy and the other person sees two shares. I also look for bright things to share so they see my shares bright on there feed and hopefully they share back.

idbeads @shanallc Mes.1 of 4: It took me awhile to understand and find a sharing balance. If I were you I’d share your items once or twice a day + every day until you get more items up. Then rotate sharing your own and others’ too. Price it higher and USE the sales features Poshmark offers. Share during appropriate parties... when they’re having a specific Party... look up those brands in your newsfeed. Then find “active sellers” selling them. I share to parties and then I share to my followers.

The best thing about Poshmark is this - “The Community”. Enjoy your new business adventure and know there are slow and busy times. Don’t ever give up on your dream. That’s easy. Talk to people and figure out a way to make it a reality.

Poshmark is a “very unique” buy/sell website. When they send out messages about how to increase sales you should pay attention. They do know what they are doing.

The savings account may be tricky as they tend to have limits to how many transactions can move in and out of them monthly due to Federal Reg D. (Can you tell I’m a banker 9-5? 😂😂) I’m assuming you received an ATM card rather than debit? Perhaps you could load a prepaid debit card for use on here? I often keep part of my earnings unredeemed to give me something to shop with as credit. I love selling but I enjoy supporting other poshers as well. 😊

stirandmadame @shanallc I would suggest seeing if they can set you up as a checking account with debit. Just check requirements and be sure they don’t have additional fees to worry about. Are you a registered llc?

shanallc @whatpicketfence Lol..Oh, there are fees alright! Our bank charges quite a bit for checking. I chose a savings acct since I became a SAHM. Minimum deposit, limited withdrawal, & no fees for the savings. I thought that would be the best way to go 😊 Nope, my LLC ran out a few yrs ago.

I've found that if I religiously share my items (especially to Posh Parties) I get more likes 😊 Just have to be patient, darlin 😊 Community sharing, I believe, means when you share other Posher's items. Let me double check... Love Notes are when you purchase something & leave a comment about the item that was purchased 😊 You can also go into detail about the seller too.

So as long as you're honest in your description (noting any flaws, if any) everything is in black & white 😊 Poshmark will release your earnings whenever the buyer accepts the package..and if they don't, you'll receive your payment 3 days after USPS has confirmed the delivery. When I sell something, I always schedule a pick-up through USPS.com & from there, I can track the estimated delivery time & notify the buyer of when their item ships out & the expected delivery date.... Let me send you something so you can see what I mean 😊

permigal I do have a question- my photos I’m usually taking off of my phone camera feature and hand editing Instead of the PM camera. I always have a heck of a time trying to fit the phone camera photo into the picture size on PM after I finish editing- esp full length shots- they tend to crop off too much. I currently have 58K followers BUT when you click on it, not all 58 thousand will show. (I found that out when I clicked on someone with 1 million followers 😂 I took a deep breath, clicked on their followers & followed all that were there. Took me about 10 mins. I know good & well it wasn't 1 million 😂 But I was prepared for an all day event 😂)
