dmitten52 @madisonavalos kinda lol I got mono from one of the girls in my college classes in January of 2017. She had it and we shared a drink. I never thought twice about it, but had immune deficiency so I lost my gallbladder to it then got anemia and the virus triggered autoimmune then got iron infusions and ended up with iron overload bc I had hemochromatosis genes I didn’t know about so it has been a loooong two years needless to say lol

madisonavalos @dmitten52 same things happened to be a couple years ago! I got mono of off sharing a drink with a friend :( mine didn’t develop as far but I was sick for over a month! are you on medication? Or?

dmitten52 @madisonavalos well it’s nice to hear I’m not the only one. It felt so weird being a mom and having to explain it because everyone calls it the kissing disease lol. I’m not. I finally saw some doctors at a university that said I have a severe case, but that there’s nothing they can do for me. All they can do is provide supportive care.
