If you do put yourself out there.. definitely read books and TED talk it up to find a mindset for the criticism. paradoxfound @getitgirl27 buckle up, Buttercup! 😂 it gets worse, but it also gets better in other ways. The imagination blossoms, but so does the attitude. Ups and downs all over the place. What helped us get through it was consistency with everything from bedtime to following through with threats of punishment (he’s now terrified of the word “time-out” so he’ll stop whatever he’s doing if we even hint at it. Just don’t lose yourself and you’ll be fine 😅

Isn’t being a parent a trip!? It’s so rewarding and so defeating. But overall magical! I saw this quote the other day that made me laugh. “Please don’t compare yourself to other moms. They are all losing their sh*t but some are better at hiding it than others” 🤣🤣
