4betterguds @dalinn1 wonderful, thank you! So of the 6 instructions it says 1) Sign up like this post until you sign out (is sign out unliking that post? Or stating / commenting something? 2) share listing at start / end of sharing - this one is unclear, is it referring to that post per closet or the / group post of the instructions? How does bookend work? 3) mark spot by part of closet? We go down the list of finals, doing 13 shares per closet for each on list. Where does that come in?

dalinn1 @4betterguds Great so like the main post until sign out means you will like the post that has the final sharing list on it and the post for comments throughout the entire weekend from the time you opt in until you are done sharing. When you start sharing you will post (or “tag”)your assigned number from the list and say @dalinn #(whatever number you are)signing in.

dalinn1 @4betterguds cont. then when you are all done you will sign out the same way. Once you do that you can unlike the post if you want. To bookend you start the sharing by sharing the game post, then sign in, then complete all shares on the list in order, then sign out, then share the game post again. That bookends the game so the host can easily check your shares.

dalinn1 Yes that’s totally fine to also follow them all. You may want to just share them all then go back and follow them at your leisure. You will have the list of names if you keep the post liked. It will take way longer to share and follow each one up front. Also just jot down which one you end at when breaking. No need to keep a list. 😘💝💝👍

debalina23 @4betterguds and yes the more active listings the better it is for your closet. I find that sometimes sales and offers and likes come a few days after the event. It does take time to build your closet. I would suggest increasing followers. I have a follow game in my closet. I think it’s fun. You don’t have to play every day. Only when you have time. I can tag you in it.

debalina23 @4betterguds the share group you signed up for was serene 13. Which meant you had the entire weekend to share 13 listings for each closet. You just go down the list. That’s called a share group. The follow games are more casual you okay when your can. Just making sure you know the difference. When you sign up for a share event or group you commit yourself to share whatever the parameters of that group

brands_4_less @4betterguds One of the best tips I’ve found is to include your sizes when setting up your profile. Include sizes that sometimes fit you also, just incase the clothes you’re looking for run big or run small. Including your size helps narrow down your search results when shopping. When searching the results will bring up clothes that fit your size according to your profile. You can always edit your “my size” to include variations of sizes that fit you.

brands_4_less When setting up your size in your profile you can select multiple sizes that fit you. I ALWAYS ask for the actual measurements of the clothes I’m interested in. So it’s best to know your size according to actual measurements that way there’s never problems with fit.

brands_4_less @4betterguds Oh I forgot a few very valuable tips: - Rotate your top 10 items listed each week. This helps give everything in your closet a chance to be seen. - I share others closets as often as possible. Then most people will share your closet in return. - I include the measurements up front on everything I’m selling. That way there’s no confusion about size & fit. Plus it saves time because I never have to go back & add measurements later. I hope this info helps 😁

4betterguds @lajeani thank you that is nice of you to say. I try! my short term goal is to get reasonable sales and steady income, since I am in between work. I don't want to just give stuff away for nothing though. I have a great eye and have bought many high end things that I never wore (stress shopping before job cut). Ultimately I would like to have this as more of a consistent side business revenue and if it could be full time that would be a huge bonus.

findurstyle Hi Nicole, Thanks for reaching out for tips. Everyone has their own philosophy for selling, but here's a few things I do. I always price with some wiggle room for offers. I don't do closet clearout unless I want to get rid of something at a low price because it rarely works for me and takes too much time to re-list an item if it doesn't sell to get the price back up where you have room to negotiate. Lots of other poshers don't do closet clearout for the same reason.

findurstyle Watch Poshers on youtube to get ideas of which brands sell and to see new strategies. I also don't share a lot to parties unless I have a lot of what's in that party, but share more to my followers just before, during, or after a party when Poshers are on the app. I try to follow and get followers as much as I can. 4betterguds @findurstyle Hi Elaine, thank you for the helpful replies. I learned the hard way on the wiggle room. Roughly do you pad 15-20% over what you would consider? I see some have big almost full price. Unfortunately I still have some that are listed under what I should have without. I debate delete and relisting. I tried clear out 1x with the PM promo & it was a lot of work. Good to know not all do it. It didn’t get me any results either.

4betterguds @findurstyle I haven’t visited YouTube since I was getting this account setup. I will have to go watch more. Interesting way to approach the parties. I don’t always have those items in the Daily parties & wouldn’t have thought of that. I am in some of the weekend share games, which has me sharing others more. I try to share most of my closet daily (mine is still small). With a larger closet, do you focus on certain amount to share a Portion daily? I will be trying more of these, thank you! 🙏 🌞

findurstyle @4betterguds I usually add 10-15% or $5 on lower priced items. For instance on a $50 item I will make offers for $45. If your starting price is too low it doesn't look like you value your items. Of course, brand makes a difference as to what you can ask for. For relisting, open two windows with poshmark on both and just copy and paste from the active listing to making a new listing. Then delete the old one after making the new one live. It only takes about a minute.

findurstyle @4betterguds I save copies of my pictures so I have them for re-listing. If I have gone two months with no takers I delete and relist after having made offers to those likers. The better known Poshers on youtube don't do closet clearout unless they want to get rid of stuff because of the extra work to raise the price with a new listing again. Otherwise you have to go even lower on offers in the future.

findurstyle @4betterguds Also if someone bundles your items with lower prices from closet clearout it will go down even more if you offer a bundle discount. I try to share my full closet to followers at least twice a day. I will share on shoe parties and plus size parties and men's parties. The first party of the day has 3 PM bigwigs with lots of followers. Go to their followers and follow all of them to increase your followers. A good number of them will follow back. Also follow party hosters.

findurstyle @4betterguds Also, if you are selling your own personal clothes and shoes in mainly a few sizes, go to items in the same size with lots of followers in similar styles and follow all the likers on those items that are similar to what you are selling, if that makes any sense.

I do have a lot of my own clothes & sizes. However I also have gifts from others that aren't my usual size or a few items that I found at smoking deals that I picked up to sell intentionally. steffi3tmc @4betterguds It is what it is, I am extremely aware that between the pandemic, the droughts, the wildfires, the hurricanes, the homelessness and the flooding that we are fortunate. Having less disposable income does not make me feel ungrateful... We are still fortunate. I am working on boxes to send to refugees from the storms in Florida/Alabama today.
