Holt Renfrew silk sheath dress

This is the most beautiful “corduroy” I’ve ever felt and likely because it’s 100% silk. If I could squeeze myself into it I’d never wear anything else. Okay okay, that may be going a little far but every time I touch it I’m in awe. Because of this dress, I’ve come to learn that corduroy was once reserved only for royalty. The name actually translates (from the French “Cord du Roi”) to cord of kings. I never would’ve thought silk would be a reasonable material to use for it. *there are a few small dark spots by the kick pleat, doesn’t look as bad in “real life” but still… reflected in price
