Rejina Pyo is a London-based designer whose philosophy encompasses sustainability and fashion longevity. This beautifully cut blouse is classically feminine. The fabric is Cupro, mostly produced in China and Korea. Cupro is a regenerated cellulose fabric made from cotton waste, which has all the positive qualities of silk. It drapes beautifully but doesn't require costly dry cleaning - just don't put it in the dryer! - and it's entirely plant-based. The style is simple and elegant - a high mock neck at the front ties or wraps around the keyhole back, and the sleeves are slit from shoulder to cuff, offering ultra-restrained glimpses of skin. You can pair this with a long satin trumpet skirt for a formal occasion, but it can just as easily go to a board meeting with a tailored suit or pair with jeans. Marked size EU42/UK14, this corresponds to a US10 and fits perhaps slightly large. This was brand new with tags, never worn, but while taking new photos, I noticed a small stain. I hand-washed it in cold water with mild laundry soap - actually just left it sitting with a sonic soak for a few minutes. After hanging to dry overnight, no more stain.
