thedealmama @susanloose if you go into the transaction details there is a button for you to cancel the sale. Under your my sales tab on your account. There are no consequences or repurcussions for cancelling a sale on Poshmark. Life happens. If you find them later and repost, tag me, they were super cute!

Like I said, I did contact Poshmark support first thing this morning when I realized I did not have them. They have not gotten back to me yet other than the automatic response.

They had a couple issues and when I called to ask why your item had not scanned, they said it is most likely missing, and to send something else with the label. I am going to stories because even though, it’s probably mostly going to be a get started thing, if they have any time to answer questions I am dying to know if tagging vs featuring items is better for the connected closets. And if, as has been my experience, sharing items from each there’s closets improves the algorithmic impact of stories.

charlottecovey @thecurvymama, I night just stop for a little while. How on this sweet earth can I live without nail polish? That's just wrong. The tips if my fingers turn red, the skin all around the nail gets dry and hard, then my fingers start itching like crazy. Years ago I tried acrylic nails. After a while, my whole nails started to lift off the nail bed. It was horrible! But, enough about me. 😆😄😆🥰

thedealmama @charlottecovey you are not supposed to use those if you are allergic though. It says so on the package. I don’t think it’s giving up I think it’s recognizing when something is not designed for you. You are special. And I do not sell any but I know plenty of posh friends who do sell other nail art that is not polish based. It’s a rare allergy but don’t worry, someone out there makes something for just your special case. You might google.

thedealmama @charlottecovey if even acrylics are a no go, you might try henna. It’s a completely natural product and it comes in a couple colors, you can dye your nails or your nails and your hands or even your hair.

cscape9 I just noticed that the order you got from me the canisters two were broken. I am so so sorry that happened I took extra care wrapping on putting the fragile tape on. That makes me so angry. Such disregard for peoples property. And again so sorry that that happened. Hopefully you can use the others for something for storage. thedealmama I noticed it cancelled before you had a chance to reply, it’s really disappointing that they broke! When you mail fragile things you basically have to wrap it as if a whole flat of soda is going to be dropped on it (I have a friend at the PO, apparently they get a lot of people shipping soda pop up to Canada because we have flavors they don’t, and vice versa). Sorry!

thedealmama @abconsignment if you check out @pm_editor their story is a video how to make a story. I had to watch it five times, it goes too fast, but it’s pretty straightforward if you just do a photo like I did. I pick a photo that’s interesting or funny, add text in the story screen, and attach items to feature. 👍. You can find the story button in your feed, scrol slowly, it looks like a row of user photos and the text in red “create a story”.

thedealmama @xo4esh hi! They kinda hide the extra stories button but it’s easy once you know where to look. When you go to your feed, scroll down to the line of stories. Off to the right in teeny tiny burgundy text is “create a story”. Click the text. Boom, you can add as many stories as you want. I find it gets glitchy after about 21 stories so I keep mine well below that amount.

I will look in the mail but it’s probably not here yet, it doesn’t show delivered on the app. The mail has been taking a long time, things aren’t lost they are just slow. If you had been keeping track of the reseller blogs, you would know there have been congressional hearings on the mail delays. Its not you. Lol.

Posh mark will also notify me when it is delivered, and remind me to rate you, you don’t have to actually do anything. Beauty of using this app, the seller and buyer both get shipping and delivery updates with 0 effort. If you want you can get phone or email updates, go into your notifications tab. 🤗

I've noticed 3 places to like an item: 1. on the cover photo (in a closet or a party feed) 2. at the top of a listing when you open it to scroll through the photos, and 3. at the bottom of the listing near the comments. I see some likes in my notifications feed that aren't listed in the item. did the person hit like then remove it? or do some of the 3 "like" methods not get recorded in the item's page? this is confusing as I figure out when to follow up with people in my notification feed.

While there is a fourth way to get likes (if someone adds an item to thier bundle they automatically like it), all likes will show on the listing unless the person then unlikes it manually. People can like items for a variety of reasons, and this is why in the poshmark FAQ it is recommended that sellers only use OTL, and not tag or message buyers about likes, it makes the shopping process stressful and people then are hesitant to like anything. 🤗

thedealmama @manicmaur Just guessed. I have about a 50% success rate at guessing without seeing a makers mark in photos, that’s why I started by making an offer. It’s a somewhat rare art form, yemenite silver work, but it is common in Israel and sometimes I’m right and sometimes I’m not. 🤗. It’s not super valuable or anything it’s just sentimental to me. And it coordinates nicely with my jewelry when I’m right 💚💙💚💙

I had someone make an offer, but then I received a note from another person and she said she wanted the shoes but the offer had just expired. Or if the second, comment is more money, openly drop the price to that amount (you can add a shipping discount to it), and just make a comment to each person telling the one that you edited the price and the other thank-you-for-your-offer-this-is-now-my-final-price.

End goal is to have chickens, sheep, and a space for making art like a small side studio. Will probably be fully moved before Halloween. How’s life treating you? Still in sunny AZ?

cecifrench hey I was going to ask you, I know I buy a lot of color street from you at least so far. I was curious and some of these pictures I see somebody with acrylic nails is it hard to work with acrylics with this product?.. because yours always look really good.

thedealmama @cecifrench hi! Thank you for the compliment, I love doing my nails. I found acrylics easy to work with, however, I do not usually do acrylic. Usually I apply them to my real nails, because it stays on better for me through things like gardening, dishes. I have also seen people apply them to plastic rings, so, it’s definitely a versatile makeup medium to work with.

cecifrench hey friend! I got your message, I'll look over the stuff and buy sometime today. I need to ask you another question though, on the colorstreet stuff. When you and I last chatted we talked about putting colors straight over acrylic nails.. What did you do to prep your nail in order for the color street to stay on, and did you add anything to make it stay nice? I'm looking to venture out and do this in the next week and I wanted to know some good tips. :-) thanks again!

thedealmama @cecifrench hi there! Oh I am loving using these over acrylics for friends. You start with an acrylic that already has one coat of real polish (clear works out really well for colors or designs), and you apply as usual. no other prep is necessary. You can also apply the nails directly to acrylic, just watch you smooth the tips they tend to want to wrinkle (don’t know why).

thedealmama @cecifrench base coat works just great. I have done a base coat followed by the overlays and it looks really great. you could easily do a base coat then a design or color of your choosing too.

I have a huge influx of activity but very little likers and sales. It is so weird. I send out some ridiculously low offers and still no sales. thedealmama @rs6868 ups and downs will happen in resale, no matter what you are up to. If it feels like too much activity for your preferences, definitely slow down. If you are ok at this activity level, then i would suggest looking at your activity ratios and focusing on listing more things. Poshmark has been emphasizing the listing component lately on multiple platforms, I think it’s really helpful to watch what they promote and do at least some of that.

Not to get negative but to be honest, with all the talk of WW3, and the westernmost states reopening after 2 years of almost constant lockdown, well, a lot of people are spending their extra money in different ways than usual. Imo, that is more to “blame” than your activity level or lack of. But hey if you do wanna try a low level activity experiment, do it and tell me how it goes!
